The opening of Skopelos at New World marks the return of a beloved Pensacola institution, proudly serving the freshest Gulf Coast cuisine in the historic heart of Downtown Pensacola.
Executive Chef and Director of Operations Gus Silivos is proud to bring his famous take on Mediterranean cuisine crafted with local ingredients to a new venture in Downtown Pensacola. Serving a menu anchored in fresh seafood and prime cuts of beef, pork and chicken, Skopelos at New World is the fulfillment of Chef Silivos’ desire to bring back the Skopelos experience for his fans, friends and family in the Pensacola area.
Skopelos at New World returns with classic favorites like Scamp Cervantes and Chef Silivos’ famous Carpetbagger steak topping, together with new dishes like Seared Pensacola Red Snapper and the delicious Open Range Grilled Veal Chop.
Diners can also sample the fresh flavors of the Gulf Coast with Chef Silivos’ selection of mezze, the Greek equivalent of Spanish tapas. The Roasted Farmer salad features seasonal fresh vegetables from local growers, and Palafox Crab Cakes are made with succulent blue crab and finished with a house-made remoulade.
