Join Executive Chef Gus Silivos for a very special Venom & Vino wine dinner, Tuesday, August 14th at Skopelos at New World. The gourmet series charity event will benefit Pensacola’s Coast Watch Alliance.
Chef Silivos and the Skopelos Culinary Team have put together a menu that puts a creative touch to lionfish, with each of the 4 courses expertly paired with incredible wines. All proceeds of this charity event will benefit Coast Watch Alliance and support valuable marine conservation and research initiatives in the northern Gulf of Mexico.
The 4 course menu for Venom & Vino includes:
SOUTHWESTERN-STYLE LIONFISH TACO SALAD
Roasted corn, black beans, tomato, cilantro, chipotle dressing, purple chip garnish
LOBSTER MAC & CHEESE
Rubbed lionfish coconut curry
MEDALLIONS OF VEAL & LIONFISH OSCAR
Asparagus, hollandaise, port wine demi
COCOA SEARED LIONFISH MOLÉ
Raisins, orange zest, honey, chocolate sauce, chocolate truffles
Reception starts at 6:30pm with dinner beginning at 7:00pm. The cost for the evening is $95 per person +tax (with all wine pairings included). All proceeds benefit Coast Watch Alliance.
